Recording
Our recordings perfectly catch each artist's unique musical expression, but the path to a beautiful recording is not an easy one. The perfect recording requires a good acoustic space, quality microphones and microphone preamps, and above all the guidance of an expert recording engineer.
We have two approaches to recording, one for classical scores, and another for popular music and film scores. Our classical approach is similar to filming movies, i.e. we record individual sections of music several times and select the best shots to edit together in post-production. When recording popular music and film scores, we record each line individually using a "click-track" and other synchronization techniques, allowing us to refine each line in isolation.
