About me
Mgr. MgA. Jaroslav Zouhar has been a professional recording engineer since 1996. He studied trombone at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) under prof. M. Hejda, and then completed a second degree in Music Direction under prof. J. Smolka and doc. J. Rybář.
Jaroslav has completed more than 100 projects (titles) of various genres and recorded more than 75 CDs, several of which have won international awards. He has a wide variety of recording-industry experience, including recording classical music with large orchestras, intimate chamber ensembles, and virtuosic soloists. In addition to classical music, he works in pop/jazz, folk music, and gospel.
Jaroslav currently serves as principal trombone of the Brno Philharmonic, and performs frequently as an award-winning solo trombonist.
